Description
With your experienced PADI instructor you will learn to love your hobby even more. You will discover new depths, learn to deal with currents, gain new diving experiences, improve your buoyancy and underwater navigation, and much more. According to the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, you are certified to dive to a depth of 30 meters.
The PADI Advanced Open Water course is primarily aimed at collecting diving practice under the supervision of a professional instructor so that you can then dive without the supervision of a dive instructor.
For this purpose, 5 dives must be completed in various special areas, which go beyond the level of the PADI Open Water Divers. The prerequisite for the diving course is the Open Water certification or comparable certification (e.g. CMAS *) and a valid diving fitness certification.
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is divided into two parts: theoretical training and open water dives.
Theoretical training
Each diver receives the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Manual. In this coursebook, all special areas of diving are described in a separate chapter. The participants read the corresponding chapter for the respective dive and fill in the questions of repetition. These are then discussed and deepened with the instructor. The questions of repetition will be collected and remain with the instructor.
There is no written test; you only have to carry out a dives test - the so-called "Scuba Tune-Up" test. This is where the participants 'previous knowledge of their beginners' course is determined and any gaps are closed.
Open water dives
The open water training consists of five dives in different specialty areas. Two dives are so-called compulsory dives that the participant must complete: a navigation dive for underwater orientation and a deep dive at 30 m, where the participant has to do certain tasks. Three dives are so-called elective dives. Here the participants can choose from various specialty areas, such as:
Multilevel diving - wreck diving - naturalist - boat diving - night diving - perfect buoyancy - drift diving
